Prof.Dr.Tosun Tosun graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Istanbul in 1989. Tosun obtained a PhD degree in Oral Implantology at the University of Istanbul (1990-97). He received a Mastership in Dental Lasers from the AALZ-Aachen University (2010-11) and a MSc in Dental Lasers from the University of Genoa (2013-14). He worked as research assistant in the Department of Oral Implantology, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Istanbul between 1990 and 2002. He was a visiting assistant professor at the University of Padua and the Branemark Osseointegration Center of Treviso from 1993-94.Dr. Dr. Tosun has worked part-time as Consultant surgeon in Harvard Medical International Hospitals and John Hopkins Medicine, Istanbul between the years 2007-09. He was contract Professor in the Department of Surgical and Diagnostic Sciences (DI.S.C.), Medical School, University of Genoa, Italy between 2011-2014. He was contract Professor in Instituto Toscano, University of Pisa, Italy between 2015-16.Since 2017 he is staf member of the Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Dental Faculty, Istanbul Aydin University. He obtained Associated Professor title in 2003 and Professor title in 2018. He is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Advanced Instructor of Laser and Health Academy, Certified Expert in Oral Implantology of Deutsche Geselschaft für Orale Implantologie (DGOI) and regularly presents papers in various national and international congresses and scientific publications.

What is ALL-ON-FOUR ?
All On 4 is a dental implant technique where the upper or lower set of teeth are replaced with just four implants. These four Implants act as a support mechanism for the placement of a new set of fixed teeth. With the All On 4 dental implant procedure, the posterior implants are tilted 45° towards the rear of the mouth and placed into the anterior maxilla, a region of the jaw with higher bone density. Compared to other implant methods, the All On 4 technique doesn’t require the same density of bone in order to secure the implant.
